Habt ihr wieder Lust auf eine gute Portion Rock, Pop und Blues? Dann hört mal in die Songs von Peter LiVES aus Frankreich rein. Nach seinem Set von Bluesrock-Songs auf unserer Secret Stage, sind wir gespannt, was er uns als nächstes präsentiert.
Peter LiVES (alias Peter Chisholm) ist Singer/Songwriter aus Großbritannien, der inzwischen im schönen Biarritz in Frankreich lebt. Auf die Nachfrage, welchen Musikstil er den präsentiere, sagte er: “I see myself as a multi genre songwriter, never conforming to one style…technically a singer/songwriter, BUT he is no ordinary solo artist with an acoustic guitar…!”
Mehr als nur Akustik
Früher, in seinen wohl noch rebellischeren Zeiten, hat Peter mit seinem Bruder in der Band The Sea gespielt. Heute konzentriert er sich auf seine Solokarriere. Die Songs seiner EP Naked klingen wie eine gelungene Mischung aus Rock und Blues, denen die passenden Nuance Pop hinzugefügt wurde. Zu hören war dieser echte LiVES Sound u.a. beim KLANGTEPPICH Ende Februar von MUSICSPOTS auf der Secret Stage, dem Foodlab Hamburg.
Peter LiVES hat Songs für TV, Film und Werbung produziert. Er hat mit Musikern wie Bob Geldof und James Morrison gearbeitet und war sowohl auf BBC als auch auf MTV oder in Netflix Serien zu hören. Im letzten Monat hat der passionierte Surfer an vielen neuen Songs gearbeitet, die im nächsten Jahr veröffentlicht.
Rückblick & Ausblick von Peter Lives
Livemusik Highlight 2020:
Well it has to be my tour in February – god I’m so happy I got it done before the madness began this year. Selling out 2 shows after so long in those cities gave me such joy and life.
Ausblick 2021:
Releasing new records and doing another tour – I plan to release much more next year definitely 2 records and some shows too I want to do it my way, unpolished, artistic and not getting caught up in what the rest of the world considers “successful” or “conventional” – really for me the successes are in my head and heart not Instagram/Facebook followers – I`ve really learned that about myself this year. Just being an artist is the most important thing for me.

All You’re Dreaming Of by Liam Gallagher – it’s really beautiful, he is the reason I picked up a guitar when I was a child and hearing him releasing stuff like this gives me hope and nostalgia at the same time – I love you Liam.
Lost In Translation by Buket – I met her in Hamburg in February when I was on tour and I was absolutely blown away by her voice, I really fell in love with that sound. Hopefully I will do a track with her soon….if I can get it finished and send it to her (Buket – if you’re reading/listening – its coming I promise haha)
Ultra Mono by Idles – these guys are rocking like no other band right now – its THE sound of rock n roll in 2020
