Singer Etaoin from Ireland makes you sit up and take notice with her debut single Bedroom Wall. Her soft, expressive voice, accompanied by her acoustic guitar, is immediately touching. A real recommendation at the start of the year for fans of folk pop.
The start of the year brings something special to MUSICSPOTS: Etaoin presents us her music and lets us hear the voice of a newcomer, with talent and lots of feeling. The song Bedroom Walls may have been written in the throes of heartbreak, but it says much more for the musician. A song about the fear of becoming too emotional, especially towards men. She talks about constant changes in speeches in the news and the constant reassurance with friends to do the right thing.
The young musician doesn’t get too emotional in Bedroom Walls. Softly and catchily, her voice combines with the guitar in the debut single. Her passion for Taylor Swift’s music can be heard. But Etaoin has her very own folk pop with a special depth that is touching for us. The single is to be followed by further releases in the course of the year. We will report.
Etaoin touches directly
Excited about the release on 8 January, I asked Etaoin directly how it feels to release her own music for the first time at the start of the year. She answers freely: “I’m so excited, I am literally brimming. I’ve been writing music in my bedroom since I was so young and to release my own music is something that I’ve been desperately looking forward to. I’m so glad it’s finally happening and I’m so looking forward to hear what people think!!!”
So good to hear the joy is on her side and recommend this talented young musician to you. We’re sure to hear a lot more here over the coming months.
