With the current single The Otherside, Bobby Oroza has announced his second album. The Finnish soul musician presents himself more courageously and gives his fans deep insights into his life.
It sounds like a relaxed spring song that comes over to us. But Bobby Oroza takes us on a very personal journey. In the single The Otherside, Bobby humbly tells us about his characteristic of getting involved in problems again and again, and at the same time he explains to us how to get rid of them again. It’s a bit of the “everything is better on the other side” that you hear in your ears when you hear the Finnish musician sing “You will be another one, when you get on the other side”.
The single is the title track of the newly announced album Get On The Otherside, which will be released on 10.06.2022 on Big Crown Records. Already on the first release Bobby Oroza shows us his usual relaxed slightly melancholic southern soul. However, it quickly becomes apparent that he has become more mature, profound and focused in his form of expression.
Unfortunately for Bobby Oroza, the reason for the change also lies in the experiences he made through the forced standstill during the Corona crisis. As a family man, it became clear to him more than once how important the income from his music is. Following the loss of all opportunity, he rolled up his sleeves and suddenly found himself earning money on a construction site.
The change and the challenges he had to overcome are captured in the upcoming album. The pieces are about change, the abandonment of old ways of thinking and new insights. Carried by the soulful sounds and integrated into the classic sound of guitar and percussion, we can look forward to a new work by Bobby Oroza.
