With a lot of bass, which makes the vocals seem almost fragile, the newcomer le:la presents herself on her second single. Take Me Home sharpens the musician’s profile and rounds it off appropriately for the trend of the time.
The musician le:la lets us share her difficult experiences. Take Me Home tells of the moment when everything around you is too much and you long for someone familiar. A comprehensible narrative that is certainly familiar to many.
For the sound, she has gone back to the 90s. Blurring trip-hop beats with a small addition of piano and guitars let the voice disappear into the background and sound almost pleading. Even if the vocals seem a little too restrained, the musician’s strong will to tell her story personally and closely is evident here.

Behind le:la hides the busy musician Lisa Reyer, who is part of Toby Whyle’s live band, among others. In autumn 2022, she already released her debut Drunk On You, which was played by regional and national radio stations.
Hopefully, le:la will also succeed in attracting the attention of other media with this piece. Perhaps a video or two and possibly a concert will follow.
